Maintenance and grinding
Increasing efficiency and prolonging service life
Depending on experienced engineers and state-of-the-art technology, we can work with you to optimize your manufacturing process in order to:
• Prolong service life
• Designing repeatable production processes
• Adjust the precise tolerance according to the requirements of the original equipment manufacturer - even better
• More effective use of blades, scrapers and tools
Continuous inspection before leaving the factory ensures perfect quality inspection of all products before delivery.
Maintain
The working conditions of cutting tools are constantly changing. In order to ensure consistent and good cutting quality, cutting tools need to be revised regularly.
Maintenance service
With maintenance services, we provide customers with the opportunity to reprocess the efficient tools used (such as the top and middle rings).
Regrinding service
Blades and tools lose sharpness over time and over time. Unsharp blades have a negative impact on the cutting effect or cutting quality of cutting materials. In extreme cases, blunt blades may cause the required cutting clearance to cease to be maintained. It is recommended that you regularly grind cutting tools by our professionals.
Instructions for Use and Maintenance of All-Steel Planing and Cutting Blades
The grinding of planer blades must be carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of the instructions. Installation conditions of blades must meet the requirements of the use instructions of planers. The clamping force is uniform and firm, and the gap adjustment is reasonable.
The operation, maintenance and grinding methods of all steel blades are as follows:
Notes for Installation of Blades and Pressure Bars
Due to the high hardness, rigidity and small deformation of all steel blades, uniform force can be applied when adjusting the blades. Unlike the installation method of steel insert blade, when installing safety steel blade, it should be noted that the tightening force of press block bolt for fixing blade should match the tightening force of top screw for adjusting blade clearance. Never tighten or jack at the same time. Otherwise, it will cause the crack of the blade pressing block or the top wire hole, which will cause the crack and make the adjustment of the knife difficult. Especially for pressure rod, pull rod screw and jacking screw must not exert force at the same time, first loosen and then tighten, otherwise it is easy to cause pressure rod fracture.
Grinding Method
1. Selection of grinding wheels
It is suggested to use PA54H special grinding wheel for all steel blades, because the grinding conditions of all steel blades and steel insert blades are obviously different, the hardness of steel mouth is high and the grinding area is large. Therefore, soft grinding wheels with medium grain size of 46-60 and soft H hardness grade of abrasives should be selected. Hard grinding wheels should not be used for grinding. The abrasive structure is medium slant loose 7-8, and the bonding agent is ceramics.
2. Use of grinding fluid
The concentration of grinding fluid should reach 3%, and the normal value of alkalinity is PH=8. The filter and cleaning of coolant should be maintained.
Cooling water pump works well, coolant flow is sufficient and smooth, it should reach 25-30L/min, coolant ejection should follow the direction of grinding wheel rotation, water column should be about 10 mm from the front of knife edge, and nozzle should be 5 x 40 mm flat. To ensure good lubrication and cooling conditions. Dry grinding is never allowed.
3. Grinding method
The spindle of the grinding head motor of the grinding wheel has a small inclination angle with the fixed cutter table, and 2-3 degrees is the best. The center of the blade face is as far as possible in the center of the grinding wheel spindle.
Whether the grinding wheel is rotated clockwise or counter-clockwise, the direction of spark sprayed during blade grinding is right away from the edge direction. Spark heat should be kept away from the edge.
The speed of the grinder should not exceed 15 meters per minute.
The feed of the steel insert cutter should be much less than that of the steel insert cutter when grinding, and the roughness should be no more than 0.03mm. When grinding, it should be gradually reduced to 0.01-0.003 mm, and 5-6 rounds from smooth knife to sparkless grinding until smooth.
If the feed rate is too large and the grinding speed is too high, it will cause the blade annealing and lose the grinding effect, seriously affecting the service life of all-steel blades and the use effect of blades. At the same time, the accuracy of the grinder will be reduced, resulting in excessive consumption of grinding wheels and waste. Fine asphalt is used to grind by hand, generally at least two kinds of asphalt are used to grind, first with #1200 and then with #3000-#6000 mesh of asphalt to grind precisely, so as to keep the edge sharp. The correct manual grinding method will give you unexpected results.
Cautions for insert placement
1. The sharpened blades should be cleaned well, wiped clean and coated with antirust oil conditionally.
2. The edge of the sharpened blade should be well protected from foreign body touching the edge. The blade should be built-in and placed safely.
3. Blades should be stored in well-ventilated places to prevent rain and dampness, and can not be stored with corrosive articles. -
